A 19-year-old youth died from electrocution at Taltali upazila in Barguna district on Saturday evening. The deceased was Md Nazmul Hossain, 19, son of Md haque Islam Akon, a resident of Bhaijora village under Barbagi union of the upazila.
According to locals, Nazmul came in contact with electricity when he was working with a branch of a bamboo and it suddenly fell on a live electric wire, leaving him senseless.He was taken to Talatali Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.Taltali Police Station officer-in-charge Shahidul Islam confirmed the death matter.
